45 Minutes That Way

My friend Juria lives in Thailand. I live in Singapore. We've only really hung out in person once, but we had such a fun time 'cause we spent it walking around and taking pictures together. We liked it so much that we came up with this blog: http://45minutesthatway.wordpress.com/.

The basic idea is that we both decide on a direction every week (this week is east), each pick our own start points and, for 45 minutes, just keep walking in that direction and snap pictures. Then we'll come back and post our shots on the blog.

We might invite more photographers in other countries eventually, but we wanna just go shooting "together" again first.

I would love to contribute to something like this, but I live in a shitty town. I think I wouldn't find that many interesting things to photograph.

Yeah, which was one of the reasons we were heading out in the morning. Last Sunday, we went out at three in the afternoon, which would've been 3am for you guys. We figure ten at night on a Saturday isn't so bad for the other side of the world.

Yeah, Jeff, we're trying to make sure that everyone goes out at the same time, so it'll feel like an actual group shoot.

This weekend is pretty crazy for me. I'll have my iPhone with me in hopes of being able to do this and have joined the Flickr group (my first one!).
