Well, me weekend pretty much was was I said it wuld be. my family and I went to the fleamarket thing yesterday. However since it was supposed to rain originally (weather report was wrong though) there were only a handful of venders, and most where the "this is my job" type (like Avon stnads and so on. I think I'm going to start a mineral/crystal collection. I bought myself a beautiful amethyst crustal, I already have a chunk of Austrian crystal (the real kind, not the cut glass) and I also have a blue goldstone (which I grant you is a manmade item, but it still completely rocks. ) For those who don't know what a goldstone is en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldstone_%28gemstone%29 I have the blue variety the article mentions. Today, went out to lunch with the family, did some shopping, and went book store shopping. The local barnes and noel is moving (across the street, but none the less) so they are having quite a sale (of course, the stuff I was interested was NOT on sale, but I dodn't want to take the risk that the single copy things wouldn't be there anymore.) Also did some general room cleaning, writing and drawing. I drew a picture of the villain of my story, and while I like the dress, she just doesn't look evil enough. Hoping some color wil help that. If I get my butt in gear, I will try to post it some time this week.

Next time, less clothes. Great pics otherwise. I really hope you don't mean less clothes on me. Because, if you've learned anything about me, it's that I'm dreadfully shy and bashful.

Just as a general rule. It's kind of a philosophy I live by.
There was also an excellent one-woman show by Sally Randa playing before the show I went to go see last night and it was excellent. Really funny with a great pacing to it. I loved the ending. Quite inspiring actually without getting preachy or maudlin.
And the actual show, Voices from Chornobyl was excellent. I had seen a previous version a few years ago and the director has further adapted the work and made it even more sharp and emotionally potent. Fantastic acting, too.

It would be really great if the Voices from Chornobyl show could become a national show. It really was the better version.

That would be very cool.
I don't even know if there are national tours of shows that aren't musicals. Doesn't seem like you ever hear about them, if there are.
