(Well, and Survivor but it doesn't count as real tv! Hehe...) Ain't that the truth.

Chuck got kinda old really fast. I'm actually watching Californication now and it's really quite impressive. What's that one about?

As trashy as Survivor is I still love it, and I'm diggin the Chinese backdrop this season. It's not a tropical island! Woot!

Chuck got kinda old really fast. I'm actually watching Californication now and it's really quite impressive. What's that one about? David Duchovny plays a writer who hasn't written a word in years, not after one of his novels got turned into a rom-com starring Tom and Katie. In the meantime, he spends his days sleeping around with random beautiful women, while still trying to patch things up with his wife and daughter. Oh, and the youngest daughter from The Nanny is in it--as a REALLY hot chick.

Oh yeah, I heard about that one. Isn't David Duchovny's hot wife the producer or executive producer or something?
When/where is that on?

Well, I'm absolutely sure when it's on in your neck of the woods since I live in a country where naughty television shows are either censored or never spoken of. I catch it via "questionable online means", but I'm pretty sure it's Monday nights on Showtime, during the same block as "Weeds".

Gasp! Scandalous!
Unfortunately I only have basic cable. I hear it's good, though.

It is quite entertaining. "Weeds" is far more (pardon the stereotypical pun) addictive, but "Californication" has some decent writing as well.

While I haven't watched the show (meaning Californication) I saw an article about it on yahoo a few days ago (don't make me dig for it) abt the show airing uncut in europe on airwave stations.

Considering they've got him snorting coke off a hooker's ass in one episode and getting punched during sex by the actress that was once the youngest daughter on "The Nanny" in another (man, she grew up well...), what exactly would there have been to cut?

I haven't even heard of most of these shows. Chuck? Californication? Isn't that at Chili Peppers song?

Chuck might've gotten canceled already because we couldn't find it at all on our DVR. Of course our DVR has been glitchy the past several days so it could be us.
