Apparently the new direct-to-DVD release Superman/Doomsday has some heavy homo-erotic overtones, according to an Ain't It Cool reader review. My favorite part had to be when evil Superman grabbed the now long-locked Superman by the hair, repeatedly pulling him down to "Knee" him in the face. Of course, all we see is Superman's head bobbing up and down a few times, before falling to his knees and onto the ground. Evil Superman follows this attack with, "Now who's better EQUIPPED to defend the city." I almost fell out of my chair.

I swear, AICN is run by twelve year old boys with an unlimited supply of candy and crack. It's like a social experiment gone horribly wrong at that site, and yet they seem to have some kinda geek credibility. That's really kinda worrying.

Yeah, my general rule of thumb is to ignore Ain't It Cool News. I don't know why this one grabbed me as different.

Everyone needs a dose of some mindlessness every once in a while. You get a pass, Blake. But just this once...

Bwahaha. Homo-erotic overtones are always amusing.
