Anyone see the premiere? What did you think?

I thought it was a decent opening. I wasn't expecting anything much (it's only the first episode, after all) and there were some nice character moments.

I really enjoyed it! Curious about the old generation's story, and who the remaining members of the nine are. Curiouser and curiouser!

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool.
Now the two new characters, the siblings? Did you get the impression that the brother being near her keeps her powers in check? Or was he just comforting her when he said that she'd be fine as long as he was around?

I think he was just comforting her. Best moment of the show? Noah Bennet being badass at his day job. He's quickly becoming my favorite character.

Why wouldn't his supervisor just fire him right then, though. That was lame. Total wish-fulfillment scene that didn't hold up to the reality established in the rest of the show.

My guess? His supervisor is secretly this season's new uber-bad guy. Reality re-established! No-Prize for me! Or the "Heroes" equivalent at least.

About the siblings, I'm pretty sure that he keeps her powers in check. When they're separated she makes people around her die...she said something to that effect early in their story, I think. Also I read something to the effect regarding her powers, so there.

Having seen the second episode, you most certainly are correct.

Yes, I see that I am. I just finished watching episode three, and it was good! Of course!

It...it was on last night? On Monday, when it's always on?

Oh. For some reason I always think it's Wednesdays. I guess we should check our DVR.

I still haven't seen episode three yet. I'm kinda losing a bit of interest in it and don't really know why.

Really?
It may not be as strong as the beginning of last season, but I guess I'm invested in the characters now.
Having said that, I haven't watched episode 3 yet either, so maybe I'm not as invested as I think.
