Had a crappy week myself. On the day I was home sick turned out to be a bit lucky. Heard something funny in the basement. turns out the water heater warranty expired last month. So naturally, something major went wrong with it. If no one had been home, this could have gotten ugly fast (and funny sa it is, the next day Mythbusters myth to bust was "can we make a water heater take off like a rocket if it malfunctions?" the answer was yes)
And now, my mother has decided to have family thanksgiving at our house. Not that I dislike my family or anything, but I have to be at WORK the next morning at 7am. My family doesn't leave until 11pm. Seeing an issue?
How are the rest of you?

Right now I'm suspiciously tired. Not sure what's going on...but I'm gonna go to sleep and find out if that helps. Today was a good day. My sister came up to see my new place and hang out for the day, which was nice! I haven't got to hang out with just her in ages! This past week was insanely busy at work, which makes me hate my job, but other than that it was an ok week. Didn't do anything too exciting besides cleaning up our storage room. Oh, and today I finally finished decorating my bedroom. Hung up some artwork and a floating shelf with some candles on it. I really ought to take some pictures to show you people....

We spent the weekend up in the mountains by Big Bear Lake for our 1st year wedding anniversary/10th year anniversary (as a couple). It was extremely relaxing and calming and wonderful.
Tonight I made the tough decision to cut back on a lot of comics that I get. I'm trying to really scale back. Part of it is money but quite a bit of it is feeling kind of bored with a lot of stuff I'm reading.

Stupid computer's been fucked for the past week or so, but all seems settled now, so I'm baaaack. I'm hungry, but I'm detoxing at the moment, so that's understood.

I know people who've done that detoxing thing. Which one are you doing?

It's the three day one, where you eat nothing but fruits and drink some lemon drink, while ingesting a couple of health supplements. yummy!

Well that's not too bad. I've heard of some that are much more extreme. How is it going? When are you done?

I'm done already and, frankly, I don't feel very different. I am itching to go jogging more, but that urge to get fit came on even before the detox.

How many times have you done the detoxing thing?

Seeeexy!
Most detoxes that I've heard about seem to be longer than 3 days. Like either 7 days or around there. I don't think I could do one of them. I'm so thin as it is, I'd probably just fade away if I did.
