I definitely agree with both of these!!! Pride Of Baghdad was beautiful, and James Jean's covers are freakin' awesome!!!

Yes to both.
Pride of Baghdad in particular really surprised me. For some reason I was expecting it to be a lame Disney movie with the talking animals, but it was much more serious, grounded and realistic.

It was very serious, for sure. I really adored the art, and the colouring especially. So soft and beautiful, but also realistic, too. The animals looked like animals, not Disney versions of animals.
